Ingredients:
- 2 large chicken breasts (halved to make 4 thin fillets)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken
- Season chicken fillets with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Sear the Chicken
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce
- In the same pan, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, followed by heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir well.
- Let it simmer for 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine & Finish Cooking
- Return the chicken to the pan, coat with the sauce, and let it simmer for another 5 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Add lemon juice and mix.
Serve & Enjoy
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or garlic bread.
